  3. My mother who is 86, a few days ago told me a story about how she broke the lid to a cookie jar when she wasn't yet 5 years old and remembers it vividly because her mother cried about it and was very upset. After my grandmother died my mother possession of the jar and found an unoriginal clear lid that fit it perfectly. It has been on her hutch ever since. I took a pic of the mark and it is the TA Made in Japan, the Tashiro Shoten and it has similar painting as the example above.
