ReplyDeleteGenerally speaking wares marks with Nippon would be 1891-September 1921 when the law requiring Japan/Made in Japan was required for exporting to the USA. This mark would be closer to the 1921 time frame.
ReplyDeleteI just re-read what I wrote and it obviously was not clear. Nippon marked was 1891-Sept 1921. After September 1921 the law required Japan or Made in Japan to be marked on wares.
