Narumi China began as Imperial Seito in 1911. It built its first factory in Narumi, Nagoya in 1938. In 1946 it began making western tableware. The Narumi China Corporation was established in 1950. ReplyDeleteHI there , I hope the site is still up and going, i have a question, I have the mark that you have listed for "Occupied Japan marks" the very first one, But mine does not have the wording "Occupied Japan" just has the Red backstamp just like the first one, and i think a something else under it , but i need to look and find out, so when do you think that mind was made? with kind regards from jenn
ReplyDeleteWith out seeing the mark it is hart to be certain. It may have been just after the occupation ended or just before the MIOJ was clearly established as a law. Best bet, 1947-1954.
